Tall Ship Cruising the Whitsundays Islands
Under the Romance of Sail
3 or 6 Night Cruises
Reef and Island Cruising. What better way to see an area than by boat? You probably travelled to Australia by plane after looking at various flight
comparison sites like Fly.com and then traveled by train or bus around the country. Why not give a boat a try? It's
something different, exciting and is sure to be a really fun experience that will create amazing memories.

Whitsunday Facts
Boomerang Island
On 9 September 1860 QGS Spitfire, on her way to survey Port Denison preparatory to a settlement being established there, anchored overnight in Port Molle 'in 7 1/ 2 fathoms on its southern side, abreast a beach on the northern face of Boomerang Island'. The narrative goes on to talk about a wreck on the beach indicating this could only be today's Long Island, the name of which appeared officially on Admiralty charts in 1863 and the wreck referred to was that of the merchant vessel Valetta at today's Happy Bay (Queensland Government Printer Report of the Proceedings of QGS Spitfire in search of the mouth of the River Burdekin 1860)
