G'day, Bob here. Just thought we would get something going on what happens day to day on the water in The Whitsundays and in particular where I work, driving jetskis around Hamilton Island.

Please feel free to add anything you wish and to those that have done the tour with me, or want to, it is your forum as well.

Fairly poor start to the day today weather wise and I was forced to cancel my 9am tour due to heavy rain. As usual if you want good weather wait until Bob cancels because 5 minutes later out comes the sun. No damage done got all of the guys on other tours and enjoyed a good day.

Took out 14 skies in total today, very nice people with a couple of kids as well. Lots of heavy water with plenty of chop and some well developed roll not too much flat water to be found. Made a good start and with a little gentle coaxing got a nice consistent speed. Boomerang tour, can't go round the island it is a little bit rough, I don't mind but noone wants to follow me that often.

Hit Catseye Beach and had some testing conditions for beginners but all pulled through well. We got a little air and surfed the swell back in and then went and did it again, had a ball.
Off to the lee of Dent to look down towards South Molle and Hayman and then around the The Cowries off Dent Island to tackle a little bit of confused swell. All handled it with ease.
Finish off with a bit of a speed run down to the runway of the airport just in time to see the Jetstar flight touch down.
Had a lady comment on how low it was, considering it landed 100 meteres past us I reckon the pilot got it right, unless they are flying those Harrier jump jets lol.

Conditions Fairly rough
Turtle count 26, good effort considering the conditions
People lost 0
Total fall ins 4
Catch you tomorrow and remember.
